Wondering where you will crash after that long ski day?  Never fear, four bedrooms and a loft provide sleeping accommodations for 12 without anyone having to sleep in the living room.  Downstairs, we have the master bedroom with a brand new king-sized bed and direct access to the master bathroom with its full-sized tub/shower.  The kids room, if you can talk them out of sleeping in the loft, has a two-person trundle bed.  Upstairs are two bedrooms, both with queen-sized beds, and the very special loft featuring two queen-sized futons with brand new premium quality mattresses.  The upstairs bathroom has a full sized shower.

The spacious living and dining rooms provide the perfect setting for your family or group to hang out together. The living room has a huge lava rock fireplace – what could be better than a cozy fire in the evening? The dining room table seats eight and the kitchen table seats another six people for those times when everyone joins the feast. The recently remodeled kitchen has everything you will need to prepare and serve those special vacation meals (it is a fact that food tastes better at 4,200 feet).

OK, so now we know where we are going to sleep and eat, what is there to do? #8 Cedar is the perfect place for active folks. Actually, it is also the perfect place for folks that just want to kick back and relax. Our back yard is the forest and we have lots of deck space for outdoor living and enjoyment of the woods and wildlife. We provide a BBQ for outdoor cooking. We also have converted the garage into a game room, with foosball, pool table, and a table for playing cards or doing puzzles (we have provided some of our favorites). The game room has its own heater for year-round use and is a great place for the kids to play in the winter when the adults need a little peace and quiet. And, when you have been out all day skiing, boarding, tubing, biking, canoeing, rafting, hiking, sailing … what could be better than sitting in a hot tub under the stars?

If your idea of relaxation includes watching a movie, we have three TVs in the living room, master bedroom, and loft. The TV in the loft plays VHS tapes. The TV in the living room plays VHS tapes, DVD's, and includes a stereo to play your favorite music CD's. We have a few tried and true movies, and you can rent movies at three shops in Sunriver. Wireless highspeed internet access is available throughout the house (please note, your laptop must have a built in wireless adapter or external wireless card to access the network). In addition, there is one wired Ethernet plug (please bring your own Ethernet cable). Want to snuggle up with a good book? Our library has some titles you might enjoy and a good selection of children’s books.
